Maintenance Manager
Our client, a progressive property management firm with “state of the art” commercial and institutional properties, is looking to add a Facilities Maintenance Manager to their management team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, building operations professional to join a great company with great properties. This role will be based out of the Waterloo area or the Goderich area.

Our client, a progressive property management firm with “state of the art” commercial and institutional properties, is looking to add a Facilities Maintenance Manager to their management team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, building operations professional to join a great company with great properties. This role will be based out of the Waterloo area or the Goderich area.
What you will be doing:
- Performs preventive, demand and corrective maintenance on mechanical operating equipment, building environmental systems and grounds at various facilities.
- Directing the activities of a team of 3.
- Perform functions to meet the requirements of a safe and reliable workplace
- Provide 100% service satisfaction level with the clients.
- Program and maintain the building automation system.
- Annual planning, including financial, staffing and capital projects
- Contractor selection and oversight.
What skills you need to have:
- Must possess Trade certification such as a Gas Technician I certificate, an HVAC technician certification, or licensed Millwright or Electrician..
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid project management skills.
- Must have knowledge of building maintenance and operation, maintenance management systems and procedures, and most building trade disciplines, acquired through a community college certificate as a Class II Building Environmental Systems or equivalent experience
- Must have 3 years of continuous experience operating and maintaining buildings.
