Job Description

Custodians (Temporary to Permanent)
Custodians are responsible for the safe and efficient cleaning and preventative maintenance of school facilities and grounds. Training is provided, however, previous related experience and knowledge of mechanical and building operations is an asset. Successful candidates will be required to carry out both verbal and written instructions.
Successful candidates may be scheduled to work at any of our school sites in London, Elgin Middlesex and Oxford Counties. The ability to travel and work on an as-needed basis, are requirements for this position.
Hours to start will likely fall within the midday shift, (10:30am and 7:30 pm). Flexibility to work hours on afternoon shift (3:00 - 11:30) is required.
**Candidates must pass a basic skills assessment prior to being considered for an interview
Qualifications: Proof of a secondary school graduation or equivalent is required. Applications without this confirmation will not be considered.
Rate of Pay: $21.82 per hour + 4% vacation pay
Expiry Date: 2021 March 15
