POSITION: CORPORATE SALES OPERATIONS MANAGER

REPORTS TO: PRESIDENT

STATUS: FULL TIME

LOCATION: BLENHEIM

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Sales Management

  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales plans for the sales team
  • Creates salary structure for sales team
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue, reduce costs and maintain business goals
  • Expand customer group where necessary and nurture current customer relationships
  • Manage and create sales processes and best practices
  • Drives sales through the corporate sales process.
  • Set and meet or exceed sales goals within the sales organization
  • Analyze market place to understand customer requirements and adjust to changing customer’s needs.
  • Keeping current within the industry and continuously evolve the sales organizations approach
  • Create sales budget and Gross Profit updates monthly as well as create Annual Budget
  • Attend Board of Director Meetings providing updates on sales goals and objectives
  • Analyze sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors

 

People management

  • Develop KPI’s that standardize the process, create metrics that drive behavior and motivate staff
  • Ongoing follow up on goals and objectives, set and identify key measures, approaches and methodologies for ensuring success against objectives
  • Develop and maintain compensation structure that provides direction
  • Manage branches providing coaching, direction and support

 

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • 10+ years of experience within a sales leadership position
  • Postsecondary education
  • Knowledge of the agriculture industry is an asset
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Strong planning and organizing skills
  • Exceptionally self-motivated and focused
