Job Description
Business Development Manager
Clockworks Automation is seeking an Business Development Manager to develop new business and promote the company brand.
We provide complete life cycle services for manufacturing equipment controls systems. These services include: electrical design, build, automation controller programming, data collection, retrofits and service. Our primary market is manufacturers and equipment builders in London and surrounding region of Southwestern Ontario. Our mandate is to create lasting partnerships with our clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop the company brand and promote the companies services and increase sales
- Establish partnerships with new clients through your existing network of industry contacts
- Promote additional products and services to our current clients, while maintaining the existing relationship
- Obtain and communicate our client’s technical needs effectively to internal personnel
- Weekly reporting and tracking of new opportunities, products, changing client requirements, and industry activity.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3-5 years experience in technical industrial sales
- Proven track record of business development and client acquisition
- Established industry contact network
- Excellent and professional communication and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to reach or exceed sales targets
- Strong computer and Web knowledge
- Must be able to work in both a team environment and remotely with little direct supervision
- Strong organizational skills, proven ability to prioritize
- independent worker, self-motivated
- Must have a good driving record and be able to travel extensively within the South Western Ontario region
Compensation includes competitive base salary plus unlimited sales commission, company car, laptop/tablet, smart phone and benefit package
