Contract Glaziers Corp., an industry leader in building envelope solutions, is currently searching for a reliable Maintenance Supervisor with outstanding customer service skills and initiative to join the team at their growing Windsor facility. The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the activities and work outputs of the facilities maintenance department, including: oversight of all organizational assets, preventative maintenance programs and software to track and maintain associated records and schedules. This resourceful leader will use their project management skills to delegate and provide oversight for all facilities maintenance and repair requests while closely collaborating with Health & Safety and other stakeholders to ensure all maintenance and repairs are conducted in keeping with best practices.
The Maintenance Supervisor positively contributes to a healthy corporate culture by building trust and teamwork to ensure there is on-going, positive communication to build and maintain teamwork and morale. This leader will provide positive support to Human Resources in handling personnel matters in keeping with corporate policy. Additionally, this leader will utilize their well-honed technical/mechanical maintenance and repair skills to direct and coordinate the work tasks and efforts of maintenance staff and contracted external vendors to ensure all buildings and equipment are maintained in compliance with all legislative standards.
Requirements:
• College diploma in facilities management and/or a technical field or the equivalent in hands-on work experience in a similar role
• 3+ years’ experience in a maintenance supervisory position
• Strong asset management skills
• Exceptional people leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
• Extensive working knowledge of manufacturing and office facility general repairs and maintenance
• Proven experience in preventative maintenance
