Quality Measuring Technician

 

Job Specifications:

·        Complete destructive testing using a Universal test machine

·        Complete Cut, Polish and Etch of welded samples.

·        Complete dimensional reports using a Co-ordinate Measuring machine (CMM)

·        Complete dimensional reports using an Optical comparator

·        Complete receiving inspections plans on incoming parts (using various different measurement tools)

·        Working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)

·        Previous experience in receiving inspection processes

·        Complete measurements Reports using hardness Tester (Rockwell, Brinell, Vickers

·        Monitor and update calibrations for all measurement devices within the facility.

 

Job Qualifications:

·        College Diploma/ University Degree in Quality Assurance or relevant work experience (3 years) in a quality role

·        Excellent computer skills

·        Must have a good attendance record and the ability to work flexible hours/days,  overtime when needed and weekend work

·        Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills, enthusiastic and self motivated, accurate, organized and detailed oriented.

·        Ability to make decisions and work in a past pace environment

·        Ability to work on a Continental Shift
