LucasWorks is currently recruiting for a Controller in the Dresden area. This is a permanent full time position with a growing manufacturing facility in South Western Ontario.

The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in a job related field or equivalent. 1 year experience related to defined job responsibilities or equivalent training.

Experience in Automotive preferably stamping and welding is an asset.

The Plant Controller is responsible for but not limited to performing major accounting functions for a division of the company, and serving as liaison between the division and the Corporate Accounting department.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Develops, maintains and analyzes divisional cost data

·        Prepares annual capitol and operating budgets

·        Prepares monthly performance to budget reports

·        Analyzes financial statements and report’s findings to management

·        Oversees capital asset and tooling tracking, and prepare capital appropriations request forms

·        Trains divisional staff members in accounting policies and practices
