Adecco, on behalf of our client, is looking for a Validation Engineer for a project in Windsor for a 3-6 month assignment. This position is required to support the Quality Program lead engineer in tracking issues and clean points with the plant and holding the plant responsible for providing correcitve actions and solving issues discovered during the Quality Program process.

Qualifications
 

• Previous extensive Assembly Plant experience
• 2 or more years in Automotive Quality Engineering is preferred
• Previous Quality Audit experience
• Previous Supplier Interface experience
• Previous extensive Management experience
• Application of problem solving tools/root cause analysis
• MS Office proficiency
• Able to independently interact to resolve quality issues
• Ablility to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment
• Strong oral & written communication skills
• Stong organizationsl and presentation skills

Requirements
 

• Conducts Customer Satifsfaction Audits across all of the assembly plants and pilot area
• Documents conditions found and identifies opportunities for product improvement
• Understands Quality CSA standard, including boundary samples and specifications
• Performs all major aspects of CSA vehicle auditing
• Analyzes data for comparison to daily vehicle audits
• Communicates results to CSA staff, Quality and Plant Management
• Root Cause Analysis on vehicle issues
• Meet with plant and engineering personnel to discuss root cause and implement corrective actions of issues
• Alert Engineering and Plant personnel on issues and status
• Record all Warranty and Continuous Improvement

Roles/Responsibilities

• Implement & release Quality Holds in the Broadcast system
• Keep inventory of all vehicles on hold
• Assist Engineering Data Input group in correct recording of the isues
• Assist in prioritizing issues found that are to be reported by the Quality Engineering Group at the Daily Meeting
• Perform Root cause analysis on vehicle issues, specifically in NVH/BSR
• Meet with plant and engineering personnel to discuss root cause and implement corrective actions for issues for by drivers
• Alert Engineering and Plant personnel on issues and status
• Record all Warranty and Continuous Improvement in the PFS
• Train drivers on vehicle features and components
