Press Operator

Job Specifications:

·        Monitoring and controlling a fully automated stamping process with hydraulic and mechanical presses 600T to 2400T

·        Set up, inspect, troubleshoot, adjust and perform minor repairs to the tool and die equipment

·        Perform duties at different work stations within the area to ensure knowledge and tracking documentation is obtained

·        Responsible for achieving production requirements for quality and quantity

·        Establish and maintain effective communication levels

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years previous experience, preferably in the automotive industry
• Post secondary education or equivalent experience in a Press Operator role
• Applicants must have prior work experience with monitoring and controlling a fully automated stamping process with hydraulic and mechanical presses 600T to 2400T
• Competent and knowledgeable with progressive and transfer press operations and functions
• Knowledge and understanding of basic Tool and Die Technology
• Knowledge and understanding of basic robotic concepts an asset
• Must be willing to work any shift and extended hours when required
