Job Description
Reporting to the Manager of Accounting, the Payroll Representative is responsible for assisting in the completion of the employer’s payroll for all hourly, management and support staff positions.
Duties are performed in compliance with LTC Policies and Procedures and Health and Safety Policies and Procedures (related legislation including OHSA).
With related experience in the area of payroll, the successful candidate must also have working knowledge of a variety of software applications including spreadsheet, word processing and database systems including familiarity with payroll based software packages. You have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities within work-related deadlines and complete tasks accurately and are an excellent communicator with solid interpersonal skills to deal effectively with internal personnel.
Completion of a two-year post-secondary program in a related discipline combined with one year work-related experience in the areas of payroll and/or accounting is a requisite.
Wage in the range of $25.40 to $31.75 per hour will be commensurate with skills and experience.
