Job Description
Corporate Training Solutions,Fanshawe, is currently recuriting talented Tool & Die Industry Professionals to join our team of Trainers in a contract appointment.
In this existing opportunity, you will train participants in both the theory and practical aspects of metal machining. Subjects of study include areas in general machinist, tool and die maker and mould maker trades: bench fitting, metallurgy, interpreting engineering drawings, applied trade calculations (mathematics), and machine theory and practice, as well as an introduction to Computer Numerical Control (CNC) and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM).
Training will be conducted during the day and into some evenings.
Qualifications:
- Combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
- Excellent communicator
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners
- Strong technical/computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are required
- Teaching experience with hybrid and/or online delivery preferred
- Related industry work experience, previous college teaching experience, knowledge of the apprenticeship curriculum and curriculum design, student evaluations are assets
- Minimum 8 years recent, relevant experience
