Our Client, a successful and innovative manufacturer in Southwestern Ontario, is currently searching for a proven and driven Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee their growing manufacturing facility. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a candidate who is looking to be a part of an organization who values their employees while positioning for future growth.

The Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager will provide strategic oversight and employee focussed leadership for the manufacturing team while ensuring that service levels, financial forecasts, continuous improvement initiatives and quality standards exceed customer and organizational expectations. The Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager will ensure that daily operations remain efficient and cost effective and are implemented with a focus on aligning both the current and future corporate strategic plan. This Senior Manager will also place a priority on building and developing key relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

This management position will be accountable for proactive team leadership, mentoring and coaching while ensuring that all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations are in compliance with the highest organizational standards.

• 7+ years of successful operational manufacturing leadership experience
• Degree/Diploma in a business or technical field of study
• Proven understanding and experience in a job shop manufacturing environment
• Exceptional leadership and change management skills, with an ability to implement and manage effective change within a non-unionized environment
• Superior problem solving and leadership skills
• Proven operational, financial, planning, logistics, costing and inventory management experience and implementation of manufacturing best practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Superior analytical and critical thinking skills
