Engineering Liaison
Our Major Defense client in London Ontario is looking for an Engineering Liaison to join their team on a 12 month contract.
This role pays between $28-34/hr.
Required Qualifications
• University degree or college diploma in Mechanical or Electrical field
• 2 yrs experience in relevant field, Mechanical or Electrical (or relevant co-op placings)
• Strong communication, interpersonal, technical and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel
• Ability to travel (5% Canadian, 5% US & International) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport
• Meets Anthropometrical Size Requirements for confined workspace
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with typical defense system requirements (e.g. MIL-STD-1275, 461, 810, etc.) and experience in a Production environment
Job Responsibilities
• Work with production on current design issues (electrical/mechanical)
• Troubleshooting production problems in relation to electrical/mechanical system designs
• Participate in design reviews as required
• Ensure compliance with departmental and organizational processes, procedures and requirements
• Undertake technical analyses as required
• Organize and conduct tests as required to prove designs
• Support customer activities as required (e.g. troubleshooting, testing, installations, demos)
• Create detailed bids in response to customer requirements
