Job Description
The Role
This is a New Business Development role that will be responsible for the success of Aquatell's first international expansion. Under the direct supervision and direction of the company owner, this role will be responsible for taking the successful business model that Aquatell has developed in the Canadian market and duplicating this success in UK/Europe. Key responsibilities will include management of the UK/European product portfolio including product copy, images, and pricing, communication and relationship building with UK/European suppliers, and demand generation through the effective management of digital marketing campaigns specific to this geography. Digital marketing will primarily consist of Google Display Advertising, Google Remarketing, and organic link building through outreach to relevant bloggers and websites in UK/Europe. As the role matures, online content creation and social media management will be added. In the early stages of this role, this employee will also act as the first point of contact for inbound sales inquiries, directing them internally as appropriate. This role is based in Ontario and is non-travelling. Contract term is guaranteed 4-months but may be extended based on the success of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- engage with UK/European suppliers to obtain product pricing, images, and copy, and to identify new product opportunities
- build out the Aquatell UK website by writing copy, adding images, and populating pricing through a web-based admin panel
- monitor / modify digital marketing campaigns comprised of Google Display Advertising and Remarketing
- field and redirect inbound phone calls and emails from UK/European customers
Skills Profile:
- undergraduate university degree
- writing proficiency
- digital media manipulation (images, documents)
- customer service / sales experience
- independent problem solver
- digital marketing experience a plus
- entrepreneurial experience a plus
