Sales & Marketing Agent
We are seeking a passionate, high energy sales professional with a mandate to develop specific plans to ensure top line revenue growth of all company products.
This role will have responsibility for direct sales and marketing for a newly established green energy company. This position is fully commission-based, but offers a lucrative opportunity for someone that wants their success directly tied to their individual efforts!
Tasks will include:
· identifying target markets, developing strategies, communicating with potential customers, negotiating and closing deals
· monitoring and analysing market trends
· travelling to trade shows, conferences and sales meetings
· studying and understanding competitors' products and services in order to explain the differentiated value of Grenetek’s product and service offerings
· gathering intelligence from customers, potential customers and industry experts in order to suggest improvements to Grenetek’s existing and future products and services
The successful incumbent will:
· have knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques, concepts & sales strategies
· be proactive and able to take initiative with a hunter mentality
· be persuasive and diplomatic while possessing a high level of professionalism
· be an excellent communicator that is organised and methodical
· be able to respond well to pressure with proven ability to motivate customers and close sales
· think creatively with a proven ability to problem-solve
Qualifications:
A university degree in marketing or business studies is preferred or a minimum of five years of related industry experience in roles of increasing responsibility; or the equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills combined with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. A valid driver’s license is required as this position will require some travel.
