Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering, Quality or a related discipline and/or minimum of 5 years of related experience
• OSSD or GED is a must
• Must have stampings and welding experience
• Strong knowledge of automotive specifications, blueprints, customer expectations, market trends, customer and suppliers
• Knowledge of QS 9000 or ISO 9000 or TS 146949
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Responsible for QS 9000 system
• Instruct and motivate all levels of management to strive for continuous improvement
• Strive for the full cooperation at all customer levels
• Assist in developing a supply base that is reliable and strong
• Maintain the reputation of our client as an industry leader in quality and workmanship
• Ensure that all direct/indirect reports understand and receive training as related to ISO 14001 policies and procedures
• Responsible for implementing any environmental legal or other requirements that are within their area of responsibility
• Managers or designees are responsible for the implementation and reporting, as required on the identified operational controls and has the authority to implement corrective/preventative actions or any identified non-conformance

This position is to start ASAP and is temporary to permanent with full-time hours.  The pay rate is approximately $60,000 per year depending on experience.
