• Perform all duties and promote themselves in a manner that reflects Formet Expectations and Formet’s Visions/Values through Magna’s Employee Charter.
• Follow and abide by all government, Legal, Magna and Formet rules and regulations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and cost reduction activities.
• Manage and communicate Engineering changes from kick off through implementation using SAP, Solidat, ETQ, Excel spreadsheets and associated meetings. This includes, but is not limited to: Bill of Material input and change, Routers, Work Centers, Cost Collectors, Production Reporting Set-up.
• Coordinate annual physical inventory.
• Coordinate quarterly cycle count schedule
• Develop & maintain Standard Operation Procedures for the Materials Dept. as they relate to Engineering Change Management and Inventory Accuracy & Reporting in both the SAP and Solidat systems
• Managing and monitoring materials specific communications between the SAP and Solidat systems, This includes, but is not limited to, IDOC errors, merge approvals)
• Provide support for other Materials groups and departments as required.
• Promote effective interdepartmental communication and support (production, finance, purchasing, engineering and quality).
• Perform necessary audits and analysis of data (Bills of Material, Routings, Cycle Counts, Standard Costs etc.).
• Perform cycle counts as required.
• Attend and participate in Team, Department and any other meetings required.
• Participate in departmental training and retraining on a regular basis.
• Perform other duties as designated.
