Preference will be given to candidates with an Engineering, Quality and Operations backgrounds that have worked in manufacturing overseeing 100 -150 machine operators.

Principle Responsibilities:

1.  Maintain all Human Rights, Safety and Environmental legislated requirements.

2.  Provide direction and support to production and engineering teams

3.  Coordinate the production schedule and oversee the implementation of continuous improvement activities

4.  Implement problem solving / trouble shooting processes to capture non conformances and implement corrective action

5.  Liaise with leadership groups to reach new launch objectives

Requirements:

1.  University degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent

2.  10 years progressive leadership experience in a fully automated manufacturing environment

3.  New product launch, start up experience

4.  Progressive training / education in Continuous Improvement

This position requires the incumbent to be fully engaged in the physical activities within the plant, driven to achieve success and passionate about coaching and mentoring the production team.
