TECHNICAL WRITER

We are currently looking for a Technical Writer to assist the Marketing team with developing and editing all product copy for packaging and manuals.  The Technical Writer will work closely with the Product Managers to ensure that the Product database reflects accurate content to fulfill manual requests.  They will be responsible for creating concise, easy to understand instructions/descriptions using manufacturer documentation as a guideline; this position will require the ability to properly depict installation/deployment and operation of said devices using images and copy. 

The successful incumbent will hold a post secondary degree in English or a related discipline, with exposure to / interest in Technical Writing, preferably partnered with one or more years of previous work experience that involved Technical Writing as a component of their role.  Multi-tasking, project management and strong writing skills are required.  Knowledge of / interest in IT products would be an asset.
