Contract Glaziers Corp., an industry leader in building envelope solutions, is currently searching for a successful and proven Estimator to join the team at their growing Windsor facility. The Estimator will be responsible for all aspects of large-scale building envelope/façade project estimating. The key accountabilities will include;
 

• Assessing bid opportunities
• Creating and maintaining project folders
• Recording all bid sets and associated drawings
• Generation and distribution of RFQ’s
• Generation and maintenance of preliminary bid schedules
• Maintenance of bid calendars
• Preparation of preliminary scheduled of values
• Preparation and review of PCO’s

 
The key to success in this role will be your understanding of architectural aluminum and glazing systems including curtain wall / building facades and your comprehensive knowledge of the processes, resources, and tasks associated with a project’s lifecycle from design to delivery.
 
Job Requirements
 

• Degree/Diploma in Estimating, Construction Management or similar field of study
• 5+ years of successful experience in an Estimating role
• Building envelope/façade knowledge
• Comprehensive project management experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong planning and organizational abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
