In partnership with Prime Management Group Inc., Quest Brands Inc. is seeking a strategic, analytical, and highly collaborative Director of Finance to join their team and new facility in London, Ontario.

Reporting to the CEO, this highly influential Director of Finance has primary responsibility and oversight of all strategic financial business and planning activities at Quest. This proven and dedicated financial leader will contribute towards the success of the organization by playing an integral role in the company’s strategic planning while leading the budgeting and forecasting of all business requirements and financial decision-making processes. The Director of Finance will collaborate with the CEO and the COO in setting and driving the organizational vision and operational strategy ensuring on-time and accurate compliance with any and all local, provincial, and federal government regulatory financial reporting requirements and tax filings.

The Director of Finance will oversee the timely and accurate development of forecasts, budgets, financial reports, and models that will assist the CEO, Board, and other senior managers in making informed program strategies, resource allocation, and investment decisions, while leading the design and assessment of the financial strategy and performance as it relates to managing against the annual budget and long-term goals with a focus on organizational effectiveness and sustainability.

Finally, this hands-on working leader will provide empowering leadership to a high performing financial team and oversee the day-to-day finance and accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets, prepaids, credit card expense reporting, commission calculations, payroll processing, monthly reconciliation, and monthly and year-end close.

To qualify for this exciting opportunity, the successful candidate will present with 5+ years of related hands-on financial leadership in a growing manufacturing environment coupled with supply chain management experience. Additionally, the successful candidate will have a Canadian Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA) designation and a relevant University Degree in Finance and/or Accounting. This senior leader will have experience translating strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating plans. As a proven and engaging people-centric leader, the successful candidate will demonstrate a team-oriented mindset with a high appreciation and enthusiasm for collaboration, while compassionately coaching and mentoring others to achieve results.
