Arva Industries located in St. Thomas, Ontario is offering an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Designer.  In this role, you will be involved in and responsible for the electrical design of mobile equipment, working alongside our Electrical Engineer. 

Electrical Designer duties

• Produce electrical schematics on Draftsight (or AutoCAD)
• Choose electrical componentry
• Design cable routing with mechanical team
• Design programs for control systems
• Issue Engineering change notices to shop floor
• Periodic 'as built' checking of machines on shop floor

To be qualified, the ideal candidate will have:

• Incredible attention to detail and the ability to work on detail tasks for long periods of time
• Ability to read and design electrical schematics
• Understanding of mobile machinery - preferred
• Good at working under urgent deadlines
• University and/or College graduates are welcome

 
Remuneration:

In this full time role, your remuneration will be based on your abilities as a designer and your experience with similar machinery.
