Assistant, Community Use of Facilities (0.5 FTE, 12 month)

LOCATION: Facility Services - London, ON.
BAND: C
HOURS OF WORK: Flexible start time
Monday - Friday - 17.5 hours per week
RATE OF PAY: $25.50 – $30.04
DATE OF VACANCY: Immediate
JOB SUMMARY:
The Assistant, Community Use of Facilities reports to the Supervisor, Community Use of Facilities/Outreach Coordinator. The Assistant is responsible for maintaining reservation arrangements on school properties and assisting with secretarial and clerical functions in the Community Use of Facilities office. The individual in this role will need to have excellent customer service relations skills and be able to deal with a high volume of phone calls and emails. In addition, the Assistant must be detail-oriented and possess excellent computer skills and strong interpersonal skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must possess an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with business and keyboarding (35 w.p.m.) skills. The ability to use Word and Excel is also required.
Selected candidates must successfully complete a practical skills assessment.
