Job Description
Waterville TG Inc., a Tier 1 automotive supplier of weather-stripping located in Petrolia, Ontario (near Sarnia) currently requires a:
PRODUCTION PLANNER
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Daily analysis of Waterville extrusion WIP inventory levels and orders
- Daily analysis of extrusion and molding compound inventory levels and orders
- Daily analysis of cardboard and pallet inventory levels and orders
- Lead all follow-up activities needed to expedite materials required for production operations
- Manage customer empty container inventories – establish cycle count, analyze results, contact customer with issues
- Direct supervision of Shop Floor Data Collection team members (Cycle Counters)
- Creation and management of Cycle Count variant reports
- Act as back up for Finished Goods Planner
- 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment
- Experience with inventory management and ERP programs (SAP)
- Excellent math skills
- College diploma in Business or Production
- Computer skills in a Windows environment
- Organized and able to manage a variety of competing priorities
- Inventory management experience
- Strong Excel and SAP skills
