CURRENT OPPORTUNITY
The Thames Valley District School Board is currently seeking caring and compassionate Secondary Occasional Teachers for needs specific to Transportation Technology to apply.

The below Long Term Occasional (LTO) Assignment is currently available:

Location: Glendale High School, Tillsonburg, Ontario
Subject Grade 10 Transportation Technology (TTJ2O1)
Start Date: May 1, 2024
End Date: June 28, 2024
FTE: 0.33 FTE (Single line scheduled period 1)

Applications will be accepted from applicants in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers as well as Teacher Candidates pursuing qualifications in Transportation Technology.  In certain circumstances the Board may apply to the Ministry of Education for a Letter of Permission in order to meet its programming needs if a candidate is not certified with the Ontario College of Teachers.

  • One written reference letter (educational and supervisory in nature). 
  • Two additional references to be contacted. Please include a current phone number and email address for each. At least one reference must be relevant to education one may be from paid employment outside of the education sector. Both references must be recent and supervisory in nature.

Only those who have submitted the required documents will be considered. Only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted. It is anticipated that candidates from this posting may be contacted throughout the 2023 - 2024 school year as interviews become arranged for Occasional Teaching positions.
