Role: General Labourer
Location: Wheatley, ON
Type: Seasonal, starting immediately until November
Compensation: $14.00 hour, overtime paid after 50 hours
Shift: 9 pm to 6 am, Sunday to Friday
 
Our client is a commercial carrot farming company located in Wheatley, Ontario, they are looking for people to join their team for the harvest season.  Full orientation will be provided so no previous experience is necessary.
 
Duties:

• Safely clean equipment of debris using water and brushes.
• Sanitize all equipment and pipes using specialized chemicals all while following the standard operating procedure and safety procedures
• Collect all trash and dispose of in appropriate dumpsters.
• Various other tasks.

 
Requirements:

• Able to work in cold and wet environment
• Heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) is required and can be labour intensive
• Attention to detail
• Able to work independently as well as in a team
• Able to problem solve and ask for help when needed
• Able to receive feedback and improve where need be
• Must be willing to submit a Criminal Record Check
• Must have Steel Toe Rubber Boots
• Counterbalance Fork lift license is an asset
