Ojibwe Language Secondary Long Term Occasional Assignment (LTO)

Beal Secondary School, London Assignment Details: - 1 line, period 1 – 0.33 FTE (first semester) Course Code: LNOA0/B0 Second Semester Start Date: February 2, 2026 Second Semester End Date: June 26, 2026 Saunders Secondary School, London Assignment Details: - 1 line, period 4 – 0.33 FTE (first semester) Course Code: LNOA/B/C01 Second Semester Start Date: February 2, 2026 Second Semester End Date: June 26, 2026 If you are seeking further clarification on details regarding the Long Term Occasional (LTO) assignment, please contact Gwen Doxtator, System Principal at g.doxtator@tvdsb.ca The successful candidates must possess written and oral fluency in the Ojibwe language. Thames Valley District School Board will first consider Internal Secondary Occasional Teachers that meet the required qualifications. Candidates in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers and with the required qualifications will be considered before non-certified teachers. In certain circumstances the Board may apply to the Ministry of Education for a Letter of Permission in order to meet its programming needs. Candidates that have written and oral fluency in the Ojibwe Language but are not currently certified through the Ontario College of Teachers are welcome to apply. Pay Rate: The LTO grid range is between $275.47 -$594.64 + 4% vacation pay, dependent on certification status, QECO and eligible experience. The applicable rate will be prorated based on working FTE for part-time assignments.
